I'm originally from Indiana. I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Southern Indiana and a second Baschelor's Degree in Education from Austin Peay State University. I worked for almost 10 years as a Senior Research Assistant at the University of Indiana and The University of Texas in San Antonio.
My husband has a PhD in Infectious Diseases and is a Professor at Austin Peay State University. We have two sons, Travis and Justin. Both boys attended CHS and also were on the baseball team.
I have loved math and science my whole life. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, camping, hiking, gardening, photography, sewing, and quilting.
I currently teach Physical Science to 9th graders and Ecology to the upper classman.
