Mr. Gaskill graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2008 with a B.S. in Music Education, Summa Cum Laude. In 2011, he earned his M.A. in Instrumental Conducting with honors from APSU. He served as principal euphonium in the Wind Ensemble, drum major of the Governors Own Marching Band, and president of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. In 2014, he was recognized as Tennessee's “Most Distinguished New Educator.” He played euphonium with Phantom Regiment in 2004 and 2006 and performed with the 11-time DCA Champion Star United from 2011 to 2016. He is active as a designer and clinician for bands and indoor programs in Tennessee and Kentucky. Andrew has proudly served as Band Director at Clarksville High School since 2021. In 2022, he was named Clarksville High School's "Teacher of Honor" by the student body. In 2023, he was selected as an Educator of Distinction by the Nobel Foundation.
