I am pleased and excited to welcome your child to Advanced Manufacturing and look forward to a productive 2025-2026 school year.   I will do my best in getting to know your child, building a positive relationship, and helping them to grow and be successful.

Advanced Manufacturing classes are designed to promote hands-on learning in technical areas related to many different industries.  Students will have opportunities to learn about valuable technical skills using CAD systems, 3D printing systems, writing code, digital electronics, programming robots and automated systems.  These types of technical skills are extremely valued in industry and employers offer high paying jobs.  In addition, your child will be assessed on his/her employability skills each quarter.  Many opportunities are currently available in our community with many more on the way in the near future for this high demand field of employment.   In addition, there are options for your child to receive industry certifications while in high school to open doors for a career in manufacturing where the average salary is $77,000 per year.

In 2025-2026, students will use Google Classroom.  I will communicate with parents if I see a trend with students who do not participate or submit assigned work or anything else that needs to be addressed. It is very important to check Powerschool and your email  to see if your student is actively working and learning.  Working together, we can help your student keep on track and be successful.
