Hello! What a pleasure it is to start another great year--actually my ninth year here but a milestone year of year 30 teaching high school English! I have loved being apart of the Clarksville community and am a military transplant. My husband retired about a year and a half ago, and we decided to make Tennessee our home. Just a little about me: I completed my undergrad work in English at San Diego State, received my Master's Degree at Cal State Northridge (CSUN) in English Education, and earned my Educational Specialist in English Ed. at Columbus State University in Georgia (Ft Benning days!). I consider California home as I was born and raised there. My husband and I have no children, but we have "kids with fur" --our four dogs--Bear, Sadie, Jack and Gus.

Looking forward to another GREAT year. I hope to encourage, engage, and motivate students to be BETTER than their best!
