Hello! My name is Laura Czecholinski Burchett and this is my thirteenth year teaching English Language Learners. This is my sixth year at Clarksville High School, and I am excited to be a WILDCAT. I am serving English Learners in grade levels ninth through twelfth. My goals are to see every student succeed both in the classroom and outside of the classroom.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. My best form of communication will be through my school email any time of day or night at [email protected]. I will try to respond to you within 24 hours during a Monday through Friday work week. I can also be reached by phone at Clarksville High 931-648-5690 ext. 2220 from 6:50 am to 2:25 pm Monday through Friday. I will be unavailable during the weekends to spend time with my family.

Burchett's 2023-24 Schedule 

1st Period- ELD 9E, 10E, 11 (7:25- 8:10)

2nd Period- ELD 9E, 10E, 11 (8:15- 9:00)

3rd Period- ESL 9-12 (9:05- 9:55)

4th Period-  ESL 9-12 (10:00- 10:45)

5th Period- Push- into English 1 & English 2 Classes (10:50-11:45)

SKINNY English 1 Period- Walter (10:50- 11:15)

LUNCH C (11:50- 12:15)

SKINNY English 2 Period- Robinson (12:20- 12:45)

6th Period- ESL 9-12 (12:50- 1:35)

7th Period- PLANNING (1:40- 2:25)

I find these 5 rules to be simple to remember as a student AND an adult.  I will be holding myself accountable to these rules, as well as my students:  

  • We will arrive on time. 
  • We will listen to understand.  
  • We will work hard in class.
  • We will not be on our cell phones.
  • We will be respectful to one another.
